Finding Angels the Novel - Newly Released

Finding Angels

Author: Kelli Klymenko

Publisher: Kelli Klymenko

Category: Fiction   Level: All

Herakleopolis, Egypt - 4235 BCE
Nehkre Sentia, the keeper of ancient mysteries, was entombed alive in an act of gruesome violence by the priests of the Kher Heb. Her name was removed from all known tablets and scrolls.

Manhattan, New York - 2005 AE
Statues are found with the inscription 'Nehkre Sentia.'

Finding Angels - is the first installment of the Spirit Exodus Trilogy.

Finding Angels chronicles the interconnecting spiritual journeys of seven individuals, guided by the beautiful spirit Nehkre Sentia. Gabriel, haunted by her presence since early childhood, accepts his destiny and attempts to fulfill it, without knowing exactly how to do so. Along with his sister, Monica and her friend Regina, they race against time and the unknown, aware that they are being secretly monitored by elite groups that desire to thwart the spirit's plan. Guided only by visions and dreams, these travelers journey across entire countries to meet by chance in a small Southwestern town. Here they join with three more, and together they embark on a spellbinding quest resulting in realizations of spectacular lost truths.

Author's Notes: Once upon a time, three children played a game called fate. They hid in the secret temple during the darkest of nights. They vowed to remember that which they must do. Only through patience will you see the path I lay before you. A journey unlike that which you have experienced before is about to unfold. It is time to see the ones who walk in dark places - they will guide you to your destiny. I will join you there, to complete the tasks that began a thousand years before.

Now it is time - for you to remember.

~ Nehkre Sentia ~ The Keeper of Words

___________________________________________

I dreamed the same dream last night. I suppose in ordinary circumstances it would be polite to remark that I shall not bore you with the details, but life is in the details. Did someone say that once? How brisk was the early autumn air singing and alive on the night of your first kiss? Or was it damp, humid - the light breezes of spring long forgotten as the stillness of the summer drapes all around you like a heavy cloak?

Details.

We are all subject to them in one form or another and they have been reinvented a thousand times, a hundred thousand times before evolving into their perfect ends. Memories are these colorful fanciful pictures, reworked and touched up until we are satisfied, was that night so perfect? Were her eyes so blue? Dreams are these memories more often than not, and I was chased out of my house by one such dream.

I ran from my dream, out onto my lawn, and fell there - Sleeping until awakened face to face with a field of never ending green, green grass, sweet smelling from the morning dew. But you can never venture far from these, they are part and parcel as the saying goes, and you will never truly escape.

The dream you ask? Oh yes, I dream I am free - and true freedom demands a price. Freedom - she is a shrewd negotiator and always demands her cost. Freedom can be the most frightening demon. I dream maybe I can take flight, I dream I can run and feel the wind on my face and coarse ropes and bitter-tasting silence is falling from me. I dream that I can speak as loud as I wish and I can fly.

I loved her once. It's not all as bad as that.

I did love her once.

~ Gabriel
