 This rune-book works even if you don't own a spear or a spindle and can't define "aurochs."
This is a utilitarian, user-friendly Rune book that draws on the incredibly rich lore of past centuries while encouraging the intuitive interpretive powers of the modern reader.
"Rune-Reader" contains:
— Interpretations of the 25 runes with clarifying questions for the reader;
— Clearly explained, easy-to-use rune-oracles;
— Exercises for increasing your own awareness and intuitive abilities;
— A removable, double-page Rune-reading lay-out guide with instructions;
— Two visual-ID charts for easy written and oracular Rune reference.
The point to me isn't the deep history of the runes, although I find that fascinating. But when I'm using them for oracular purposes - when I'm throwing the runes, or pulling one to start the day - I need them to make sense for NOW, for urban 21st century America.
Note: Rune-stones AREN'T included.
