Author's Notes: This book is truly a work of love. I spent 6 years researching and writing this book to bring to life something that we so often take for granted with little thought. Incense has a rich tradition from pre-history to modern magick and I wanted to share some of those traditions.

Allergic to incense? Does it make you suffer to be around it? There's a VERY strong chance that you are not allergic to incense. In fact, that statement is much like saying "I am allergic to food" when, in fact, I am allergic to bannanas. Although many people have allergies to one or two incense ingredients, it is usually the use of incense with synthetic chemicals that causes negative impacts on health. Some people are very sensative to particulate matter (such as ANY kind of smoke) but even they can enjoy incense. There are numerous low-smoke and no-smoke incense options.
