A Practical Guide to Evolutionary Science and its Importance in the 21st Century
42-- A Practical Guide to Evolutionary Science

Author: Ezra Niesen

Publisher: Ezra Niesen

Category: Philosophy Level: All
Evolutionary Science is the study of what all humans have in common and where their differences originated.
Great advances have been made in the fields of evolutionary science in the past decade or so, and many of the scientists involved are trying to find the origins of various social problems in the world and how they can be solved. Unfortunately, those scientists publish their discoveries in books that are so academic that most of the people they're trying to help will never read them. Luckily, evolutionary science is easy to explain in everyday terms. We see the products of human evolution in everything we think and do because every single one of us *is* the product of human evolution.
If you are anybody who’s trying to move civilization forward in some way or another, this book is for you. If you don’t feel like civilization works as well as it could yet, that’s because civilization doesn’t yet accommodate human evolution—which means that it doesn’t accommodate humanity itself. The Judeo-Christian understanding of humanity that the Western world is based upon worked great for a certain group of people who lived 2, 000 years ago. If you aren’t one of those people, or if you are one of those people but you believe that the world has changed since then, here’s everything you need to prove that you have just as much right to your way of life, and just as good of reasons for it, as they have to theirs.
That list includes: Feminists Environmentalists Peace Activists Homosexuals, bisexuals, and transgendered people Pagans Native Americans Religious Minorities of all types Cultural and Ethnic Minorities of all types Christians and Jews who can respect other people’s differences and who believe that their religions can coexist with science Islamists and Muslims who can respect other people’s differences and who believe that their religions can coexist with science Atheists Agnostics Socialists Communists Libertarians Anarchists …And everybody else in the world who just wants to do their own thing and get along with other people
A peaceful, sustainable global civilization is never going to be built on the continued misperception that one culture is better than all the others. If it is going to be built, it’s going to be built on the common ground that we all share. The one thing that every human is guaranteed to have in common with every other human is human evolution.
Evolutionary scientists understand that the people of every civilization in the world have figured out the basic concept of Sesame Street. That is, that people can only build stable civilizations by cooperating, not by trying to kill each other. To the casual observer that isn’t always obvious due to the superficial aesthetic differences between cultures. Can anybody say “can’t see the forest for the trees”?
A lot of politicians and religious leaders have been making their livings by keeping the public from figuring this out. But now I’m putting a stop to that forever.
Just because I know that a certain large group of people will never accept a new set of rules for the world that finally makes everyone in the world equal, I dubbed this book with the alternate title of The Third Testament. I don’t claim to be the Second Coming of Christ, I just want to make sure that certain group of people starts paying attention to what the other three quarters of the human race has to say.
Religious fundamentalists try to build stable civilizations by convincing everyone else that the fundamentalists’ way of life is the only way that’s right, and by trying to beat everyone who disagrees into submission. If they all want to kill each other off in a giant showdown over whose culture is better than whose, that’s fine by me. Because meanwhile the rest of can build a stable civilization by using human evolution to throw a party that *everyone’s* invited to.
So let’s get this party started!
Author's Notes: I must say, considering that evolutionary science is the study of what all humans have in common and where their differences originated, I think it's a bad sign that the same fundamentalist Christians who *still* insist on fighting wars against whoever's different from them, are also trying so hard to keep evolution from being taught to highschool students who are nearing the age for military recruitment. If they succeed in returning the public school system to the dark ages, they'll have a *much* easier time convincing people that some people in the world are inherently evil.
So here's everything you need to help stop that from happening...
