 This little book has been in print - and through multiple reprints - since 1996. It was written as the instigation of a friend with a metaphysical shop who wanted something easy enough for beginners but without some of the things he found ethically shaky in some of the other books then on the market.
Looking back over my store-bought spell books at home, I saw what he meant, what I'd forgotten about as I came to refer less and less often to the books I'd learned from (or TRIED to learn from) . Some of them were mind-numbingly complex, overloaded with details, warnings and entire gangs of candles all in play simultaneously. And some books were far more troubling, with spells aimed at other people, to break up their love affairs, "get revenge" and generally mess with their lives. What the heck?!
A couple weeks later, "Candle Magick" was in print. Just 40 pages long, it has the candle spell essentials. Period. If you want more details in your spells, you're welcome to add them, but this is the user-friendly approach. "Candle Magick" is a clear, concise and easy-to-follow handbook, actually adaptable to any spiritual path, showing how to effectively use candles to pursue personal goals. "Candle Magick" encourages the reader to quit worrying about Planetary Hours and other persnickety details and start working more intuitively, from the heart: After all, that's what the Goddess is listening to.
Inside you'll find simple but complete instructions and spell-recipes dealing with: Finding a Home - Dream or Divination Work - Abundance - Love - Attraction - Law and Justice - Healing - Protection - Creative Work - Binding or Reversing- House Cleansing and Blessing.
