The Sensual Wicca tarot is specially developed for love and relationship readings.
It follows the 22 Major Arcana plus 56 Minor Arcana tradition, but some of the Majors and the Court Cards have been renamend (don't worry, the namings are explained in the booklet) . Deck and booklet are in 4 languages available (English, French, Italian and German) and as most of the cards are adapteions of the Rider-Waite-Tarot, even beginners can work successfully with it.
It is both available as deluxe edition with a violet satin bag with silver embroidery showing sword, pentacle, cup and wand or as a deck only edition.
You can also see some pictures of the Sensual Wicca tarot in the wonderfully illustrated book "tarot 2010” by loScarabeo.
Author's Notes: Eclectic Wicca is a religious belief system open to all kind of people from all kind of social or racial background. This is why you don’t find only people with white skin in this deck but also Native Americans, Asian or African People. Yes, some of you will object to that as well as some of you may object to some depictions of gay lifestyle and some may find the mix of symbolism eclectic, so this deck is more to the taste of people who love to cross the borders of viewing and thinking. It is definetly not meant to be a "Wicca goes porn" deck.
Some also may groan that the little white booklet (LWB) which is included in the deck is too scant on information (yes, I love to play with symbolism even in this deck) as some of you told me in the Wicca Oracle cards issued by LoScarabeo in 2005/2006 and I have not forgotten about you. I am considering writing a book about the Sensual Wicca Tarot.
Wicca normally does not ask if you are white, black or brown of skin, if you are straight or gay, because nature has developed all kinds of color and sexual practice.
Some of you may find some of the cards different (e. g. the 3 cards about Jeanne d'Arc) or may feel uneasy about the nakedness on some cards, but please keep in mind that fertility and love play an important role in Wicca and ask yourself: “Why do I feel uneasy about card no….?” Maybe this will give you a hint about some part in your love life you still have rejected.
This deck is not only for practitioners of “love and light” but will remind you also on some cards of the darker sides of the human psyche such as obsession, jealousy, priying on psychic or vital energy (the vampire lady you will find on the cards no XIII or the 7 of swords) .
So have fun with discovering the various ways of love and life in the Sensual Wicca Tarot.
