This work is the unfinished collection of the true work of the Templi Nox, the magicks of the works found in the Arcanum.
All of the how to and why omitted for the raw potential found in the capacities of the High Art. In this work it is the greater essence we attempt to raise the acceptable form and functions found within what is currently in the modern standards of the Arts themselves. It is the intention of this work to be able to stand on its own, like one of the grimoires of the lost eras, encompassing all aspects of the arts as one might face it with proper study from: meditations, wards, personal rites of power, to the defensive arts, into the offensive arts and finally into the Ars Caligio, the dark Art.
The Art is meant to allow one the means to survive what is coming, to learn from the survival of these techniques from history, as well as work created to be used daily at the requirements of those who would command the forces as they see fit to do.
Never will this work be finished, as never can it be truly finished. But with the publication of every volume of the Grimoire of Apprenticeship, we will be able to add to this collection of works. Every decade of its advancement, shall birth another volume until there shall be a collection of spells and resources which can be created which shall be the Codex Arcanum. The works found in this volume are the birth of the grand work. It is a lifetime of study, and practice which shall be added to by the works of those who enter into the Temples employ, researching and developing the old arts, and ancient practices into new forms, and new techniques. The Caligio Arcanum is the beginning of this grand work, and shall be able to stand on its own for those who seek to know better the old arts. That they who shall seek out the knowledge found in the shadows, have the capacity to grasp their greatest power, and work with the primal forces of creation, just as the ancients did.
The collection contains the following books, condensed into one work:
* Grimoire of Apprenticeship Volume 2 - Following on from Volume 1, this book enables beginning mages to reach higher understanding of the High Arts. It descibes the use of Tools in Ceremonial High Magick, the role of the Elements, Planes and Planets, and the importance of Timing; as well as giving the student a number of tried and tested Spells, Rituals and Rites for their use and development.
* Grimoire of Apprenticeship Volume 3 - Continuing from the work outlined in Volume 2, this book provides the developing mage with avenues for further study in the Art, expanding on the work in Volume 2 and introducing new concepts such as Alchemy, Spirits, Gods, Demons, Ceremonial Work, other forms of religion and belief, and Thought Forms.
* Grimoire of Apprenticeship Volume 4 - The most recent work of the Temple, Volume 4 expands upon the development of the previous three works to give the mage an advanced view into the concepts of the Mind, Planes of Conciousness, Ritual Constructs, Pacts, Invocations and Evocations.
* Caligio Arcanum - The Book of Dark Knowledge. This stand-alone text contains the works of the soul - spells, rites and rituals researched and developed over time and provided to the seeker of knowledge. Provided here are, among others, works of Personal Advancement, Protection, Nullification, Creation, Offence and Defence.

Author's Notes: Many years and hundreds of hours have gone into the practice of the works contained here in. What is provided as the body of work, known now as the Codex Arcanum, is a modern grimoire. What the authors of the Golden Dawn, and those since have omitted from their works, and embarking on a new path through becoming one with the stars, instead of bowing down to them. The codex has become an entity all of its own.
Its is a hope that the work will survive the coming ages as one which can and does address aspects of ritual formats, and the mechanics of spell craft in ways that are rarely touched on. Offering new perspective and a chance for the individual to seek out and work directly with their patron.
