 "HazelMoon's Hawaiian Tarot is one of my new favorite decks. While I have my first deck and many I have added since, along with my Fey Tarot, my stand by - I have to say that The Hawaiian Tarot is right up there on my fav's list!
I love the colors the art work and symbolism! You can tell a lot of labor and love went into this deck. When it comes to choosing a deck for me - these days anyway - I want more than just a pretty ornate deck of cards. I want something that I can feel the heart in. HazelMoon is a lovely accessible person - someone who feels very real to me as a card collector and professional advisor!
For that reason alone, not to mention many others, I love her deck. Sure there are hundreds upon hundreds of decks to select from but I love the earthy feel I get with this deck. I also commend anyone who is trying to do something they feel important to them, this is not about some huge publishing company but just a really cool woman with a really big heart who wanted to make something others could relate to! This also has got me thinking more about Hawaii and its land, peoples, vegetation etc. As a tarot reader I am one who loves the journey and learning, so with HazelMoon's deck I get far more than just another deck I can read with".

After spending years living and working on the Big Island, the artist felt her love of the land and it's people more then deserved the massive effort it would take to complete the work. Self taught in every aspect such a task would require, she has found that moment in time to release this artwork for your appreciation and pleasure. Each card is a lovely hand painted work of art and the entire collection is something to treasure for a lifetime. HazelMoon's Hawaiian Tarot has been many years in the making from original concept complete through self publishing and marketing. This is the only Tarot set that does honor to the Kingdom of Hawai'i and it's ancient culture.

Author's Notes: Tarot cards have always been very mystical. Many people have already created beautiful Tarot Decks. I chose to create my Hawai'ian Tarot, because I was lucky enough to live there, and I've been highly influenced by Hawai'ians and their mystical old land. Hawai'i is not only a favorite tourist destination as many people may think, but an ancient land of the Hawai'ians, with a rich culture and beliefs. My deck is unique and is based on the Hawai'ian spiritual hierarchy of Gods and Goddess' that have influenced the Hawai'ian lifestyle for thousands of years. The cards exemplify the power of the ancient and modern Hawai'ian beliefs in which the Gods and Goddess' guided the Hawai'ian people in living happy and contented lives in harmony with nature, along with the intense beauty of the ocean, volcanoes, mountains, birds, deities and the 'Aloha Spirit'. You also can notice that I used lots of landscapes in my deck, because the land aina of Hawai'i is very sacred, and protected by her people. The ONLY Tarot set that does honor to the Kingdom of Hawai'i.
