This is volume 2 of THE CREATION MYTH {Vol. 1 was published on 2010 and is listed on Witchvox under that title, on the Author's site}.
Part One, 'The Solar System', analyzes and quotes extensively from the books of Flagstaff and Harvard astronomer Percival Lowell, about intelligent life on Mars, in his studies and publications from 1894 in Flagstaff Arizona, to his death in 1916, combined with the mythic-poems of David Seals about the similar Star Cities in Northern Arizona. Additional sections report on the Crop Circles and their similarity to the famous Martian Canals - which appeared and disappeared mysteriously in Lowell's telescopes - and which the latest NASA explorations of the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO) have also, only in the last year, confirmed Lowell's observations - which had long been scorned by conventional science, and even UFO experts - that there is flowing, fresh surface water, seasonally, on Mars, therefore making life possible. Seals also adds the latest discoveries of life on the Titan moon of Saturn, a Russian astrophysicist who's reported life on Venus, and excerpts of Homer's 'Hymns' about the extra-planetary ideas of these planets as gods and goddesses.
Part Two, 'The Gods', includes further epic narratives about the similar deities of Egypt, Libya [where Seals lived for 3 years], Greece, Rome, Keltic Armorica-Bretaigne France, Wales, and Ireland; and back to the Colorado plateau and the native cosmogonies and geography around Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon, and the sacred 4 corners region of New Mexico, Utah, and Colorado as well, at Mesa Verde, Petrified Forest, Sedona, and the Hopi Mesas among several others.
The book is personal as well, as his grandfather David O'Brien knew Percival Lowell well, as a neighbor, his mother Kathleen was born in Flagstaff in 1924, and the family still lives there, so they know the peculiar power of the whole Colorado Plateau, which is so much like Mars and the Red Deserts; , including the Flagstaff Peaks towering over the town and Lowell's Observatory on Mars Hill.
The modern blank verse accompanies a lot of the scientific prose, helping to explain the origins and nature of life in our Solar System and especially on Earth and Mars:

and where the dead spoke to Osiris lord

He was Thoth, Isis, and she's Hekate
whom'd the Dionysian miracle.
Since he had gone there he was one of them.
Authority so given given back
manifested mysteriouslier
indirectly, inhumanity - as God -
haphazardly controlling the moonlight.
Death was the key, there. Divinity too.
Where and how what why it had been so who
the night the hidden pool Arizona
on a blue Earth brown and greener shielded,
from the cold silver, bright, anti-timelight.
