Risen
The flowers like it when
you talk dirty to them
This tree sacrificed its
own limb for balance
Put on your fossilized blue
jeans and wade into the
grass with me
Let the waves of wind
wash us, soften
the crust of cynicism
whip away our sins
the crumbles are risen
Today I thought I might
smoke a four leaf clover
The truth does not live
on fact alone
Author's Notes: In her lucid dreams, Christine Hall enjoys levitation, as well as visiting with Jaguar and Buffalo. She lives with two sons who are wiser than she, a boyfriend who is an artist, and a male rescue cat who bites the hand that feeds him, most playfully.
