Review:
Shadows (Shewolf Silver Shadows) is probably too modest to promote her book here, so let us tell you a little about it.
We are Brad & Charlotte and own a Metaphysical Store in Marietta, GA. We agreed to carry ‘Shadows Of A Witch’ to help Shadows promote her book and to obtain viable feedback. Already, the response has been astounding.
Over the last couple of weeks, several of our regular friends and customers bought the book and agreed to tell us what they think. So far:
3 have stated that they think it equal in thought and significance to the writings of Cunningham.
One stated that she liked and valued it as much or more than the Witches Bible.
Those are very strong compliments! We also personally agree. Not only is the content superior, it is excellently organized and flows well. We would not continue to carry it, if it were not.
If you haven't read the book, you are missing out. You can order it directly from Shadows site, or through us. We believe that you will enjoy it thoroughly and appreciate its value.
Namaste,
Brad & Charlotte http://www.charlottesweb-atl.com

This book is like a chat with a friend, warm and inviting, giving room for the reader’s opinion as well as the authors. The second thing that struck me as different from other books was the blank page at the end of the chapter for the reader’s notes. This is something I have often wished for in a favorite book, especially a reference book, which is what this book has become.
My only regret is that it was not the first book I purchased. For a new witch this would be a great first book. For someone with more experience it is beneficial in dispelling myths and absolutes. She also gives reading lists, shopping guides, and web group references. This was something that I had to struggle to put together for myself.
A very informative, enjoyable book, one I would recommend.
Author's Notes: When I was interviewed by a professional journalist Anna Alexander of WitchGrove ( http://mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/thewitchgrove/Page2/Shewolf1.htm ) one of the questions she asked me was:
"There are so many different witchy books on the market these days. Many of them have exciting names and promise the world, but end up being the same Wicca 101 books but with a different title. How is your book different than other witchy books?"
And my reply was:
"I think this is a great question! What makes my book different and why would I want to write a book on Witchcraft or Wicca when there is all ready so many excellent ones out there? Well, the answers are plain and simple; although I feel that there are many valuable texts out there already on Witchcraft and Wicca, I personally feel that something is missing, the separation between Witchcraft and Wicca, a distinction between one and the other.
The second reason I wrote Shadows of a Witch, is because I hope to provide a balance within this book that I feel is missing in the literary world today. Today it is so easy to find books totally dedicated to the beautiful religion of Wicca. If you seek them out you can even find books now that are focusing on the actual 'real' darker side of Witchcraft, and even a few books are popping up on Traditional Witchcraft. You can find books on black magic or white magic, but it is very unique to find a book that offers the balance between the darkness and the light. That is one of the things I hope that this book does offer: balance.
The third reason for this book is the hope that it may become a source and guidebook in a sense. Meaning that there are a lot of different things within the pages of this book that may not be found in 'one place' before, but you may find in many different places or several different sources before, but never in 'one place'.
Another difference about my book is that it also shares a lot about Tolerance. And to truly know tolerance you need to have an understanding of other paths. My book shares info on Satanism, and Christianity and the inaccuracies in Christianity. It also covers other topics that seem to come up in the pagan community such as the Other Kin and who they are and some real facts about them. Honestly my book just IS different and it is by far not just another Wiccan 101 book, this I promise. I share a lot of my personal SELF in the book and my experience, good and bad. I do not try to get readers to take my word; I try to get them to trust in themselves, and to always ask questions."
I hope that this book will make a difference.
Warm Blessings Shewolf Silver Shadows/Cathy
