The Cats
of WitchCraft

Yet, another Witchcraft myth dispelled!
Witches love their cats as well as all animals! We use this section of WitchVox to celebrate that fact.

End of an Era: We made the decision in Oct. of 2001 to stop accepting submissions for this section. Our point that Witch cats are safe and happy has been made hundreds of times over and we have amassed nearly 600 images that prove this claim conclusively. The Cats of Witchcraft continues to be popular and WILL stay up for your viewing pleasure.

Left: "Cougar is Dianna Seagiver's beautiful companion. Cougar's mother was a rescued feral, thus her name. She reminds us to give Mother Earth libations as she knocks over the flower vases on the altar in our rituals!

Right: This is Hazel, our amazing little cat from Newfoundland, Canada. Here are some photos of her doing what she does best...spreading joy...and fur throughout our home! -Sean Conway" WitchVox NOTE: Hazel hangs out with some of the most famous folks in the world... Center & Right: "These two are the feline magic in our lives. The white lady is Melanie and the dark tomkitten is Midnite. They have removed most of the rodent interruptions from the old former farmhouse since their arrival around the Solstice. (Melanie beat Midnite by 2 weeks, he wasn't old enough to leave mom yet.)Now that they have learned to play nice, their combined purrs can set the entire household at ease. And both have the gift to know when someone needs a cat, they arrive as if though walls."

Left: "I'd like you to include a photo of my most precious kitty cat, "Sheba" she's 3 1/2 years old, and she belongs (or rather Sheba owns me...I must learn who the real boss is arond here!) to Lady Cerridwyn; also known as the owner of Pagan Art & Tools by Cerridwyn. She's also co-loved by my son known as Lugh, and my husband Mannanan. You can find more of Sheba at http://www.crosswinds.net/~sheba BB, Cerridwyn"

Left: "Here are a couple of snapshots of Tootsie and her human, Ann... We don't know her breed, but she has some Maine Coon blood (and of course she's a pure-bred Queen) ^_^ Thanks, Ann"

Right: "This is my finace's owner and familiar, Thorne... I've yet to meet this cat, but he's very sweet and fluffy, just like his household pet, EarthWolf ^_^ --FireHawk"

Left: "Neither the cats nor their owner are witches...but they were raised by a witch before she took a broom up to canada...and they're pretty spooky too...does that count? their names are Stella (pink shirt) and Little Bed (blue shirt) -- dav"

Right: "This is my kitty cat dot! SHe is a very hyper active cat, actually I'de call her INSANE!!! She's about 1 year old. She's my sweetheart though, although she is very very grumpy! So, don't get on her bad side. I wish I had a picture of her playing with her toy rats, beacause that is a really funny site to see!"

Above: "Greetings! We have a new kitty who would like to be included in the cats of WitchCraft pages . I am also including photos of our 2 kitties Damariscotta and Penobscot (l-r Penobscot, Pennessewassee, Damariscotta). They already have joint photo up, BUT Penobscot is no longer a baby (well let's just say he has grown quite a bit!) and would like his full magnificent size depicted. Thanks very much. I love The Witches Voice, but I think the kitty cat pages are just the Cat's Meow! Peace and Light -- Acadia Elle "

Above: "Hi there: My name is Cassandra (my Witch name). Here is a photo of my beloved Tiny, who passed from this incarnation on September 8, 1999. He is with me in Spirit. Also a picture of Flynn, who thinks he is a dog! "

Above: Blessed Meow! My name is Nikolai and I'm making my pet submit my pictures to your website, cause I just knew I'd be famous someday! I've included a baby picture of myself from when I first adopted my owner and 2 of me now. Aren't I handsome? I'm one magickal kitty and I love to help my familiar out by chewing on her wand and getting fur all over her alter. What can I say? I do what I can. :) I'd like to thank my pet for submitting this for me! (I'm all paws when it comes to typing.) Well, I'm kinda tired from my 8 hour nap I just took, so I think I'll go take another one. Merry Meows! --Nikolai"
