Witches love their cats as well as all animals! We use this section of WitchVox to celebrate that fact.

End of an Era: We made the decision in Oct. of 2001 to stop accepting submissions for this section. Our point that Witch cats are safe and happy has been made hundreds of times over and we have amassed nearly 600 images that prove this claim conclusively. The Cats of Witchcraft continues to be popular and WILL stay up for your viewing pleasure.

Left: Bastian died last Beltane and was the most beautiful creature I had ever laid my eyes on... (well to me anyway). I miss him. He was 5 years old.

Center: Koo was adopted by my family and has been such a pleasure to keep. Our kitties are well looked after in Australia and own the biggest property to roam free. These best buddies were separated on this earth, though there is a sort of calm and contentment about koo, suggesting he knows that they will meet up soon again... ~angel

Angel, Available for adoption, with AIDS

Left: The boy's name is Brandyn Aldag, who is four years old. The cat with him as he sleeps is named Yellow Kitty. Yellow Kitty is three years old. The un-named kitten is one of Yellow's offspring. Yellow is an unfixed tomcat (though he will be a broken one soon, if you know what I mean). Yellow is a highly magical cat, whose best and only magical talent is to protect his boy from bad dreams. Yellow's favorite activities are being with his boy when he is asleep or awake, eating anything that isn't fast enough, singing to female cats, sleeping, beating up other tomcats and getting female cats pregnant. Center: Angel is an incredibly beautiful, 2-yr.-old pastel tortie who has feline AIDS. She has been in my organization's foster care for six months and is still available for adoption. I serve the Goddess through animal rescue and Angel has provided me with more learning lessons than any other cat that I have known. Angel's beauty and her demeanor have also captured the attention of many folks during our adoption sessions and I believe that she has helped to change the world for countless other cats. Her message is simple: Please keep your cats inside-the outdoors is not the same place for cats that it was years ago-FIV and Feline Leukemia are out there! Angel is magickal. Center and Right: The first picture is of Sly. When she was 8 weeks old she came up meowing at my door and heart. In this picture she is in one of her favorite sleeping spots, a shoebox on top of the cabinets. The second picture is of Weasel. He is a Tokenize we adopted from the ASPCA. Here we are confusing him by blowing bubbles. He's not exactly the brightest kitty in the litter, but he loves everyone. ~Tim C.

Center: This is Magicka, the love of my life for almost one year. She truly is magical! ~Nan

Right: My cat Munchie is my inspiration. After being run over by a car and losing one of her hind legs, she still has an incredible desire to live life to the fullest. She has taught me that even if you lose a part of yourself, you are still the same person. So I would like to make this my small tribute to my friend, Munchie. ~Kristijo

Left and Center: Here are three of my four cats. These Critters are: Zeus, he really is *that* relaxed... He even only mildly protests (just mild noise - no claws!!) when I toss him in the bathtub after a wild night spent playing in the mud. He's 2 years old. These other two feline beauties are Samhain Babies: Midnight aka Middy and Jack-O-Lantern aka Jack-o. They're littermates and 11 years old. Middy is the dominant feline in the house, and only tolerates the other animals because she gets in trouble for tormenting them otherwise. Jack-O's just a big cuddler, he loves to lay across my chest when I'm at the computer. ~Kyla

Right: This is our kitty Mollie. We adopted her from the local Humane Society. She was first known as Olive, then as Millie. We named her Molly. In the picture, she looks terribly serious, but she has lightened up quite a bit! She is a great killer of foam earplugs, likes to rabbit-kick big plastic eggs, and stuffs her head as far as she can into her human's water glasses for a drink. She has yet to join in a circle, but she is loving life with us! ~Selkie & Dylan
