Paganstock 2005

by paganbeergod

Paganstock 2005 had a successful first year; despite the hot weather everything went smoothly and a great time was had by all.
Kellianna from Massachusetts opened the event with a phenomenal show, serenading the audience with the voice of a goddess. She led the song and chant circle around the fire Friday night, and followed it up with a second performance on Saturday. The power of her voice lent itself to Saturday night's drum circle as well, and turned it into an even more magical experience than usual.
Celestial Mischief launched us into the astral plane on Friday and called the spirits out to dance. As we all went to bed that nite we launched into our astral selfs for saturday.
Scott Helland then took the stage with his magical guitar talent and was welcomed by both spirits of the land and members of the crowd. To hear such a magical performance was simply amazing.
Burning Sage left us all in aw as they brought their Goddess Rock to the stage. They joined us in the Saturday night fire circle and drummed to the chants of Kellianna. It was simply a magical entrage that could never be copied.
13 Winters stepped up the beat as the sun went down, rocking out the stage and the audience for a perfect Saturday night finale. With the Devil dolls giving us a fire performance that would make Hades jelous.
Wayne and Linda Conklin then joined us on Sunday with the magical sound of hammered dulcimers, giving the history behind the music as they harmonized.
Ducksicle stormed the stage in a great performance in the rain, and only the lightning and wind could dampen their spirits. We hope to see them again next year.
The Music went great and Patrica Telesco lent her magic to the event and stood the heat and sun. She had alot of great energy to lend to the event and when it was all done it was hard to leave. Without all the volunteers and staff this could of never happend. It was amazing to see the community in Michigan come together to make this happen.
Even with the storm of 30 minutes on sunday it showed how the whole community huddled together and made the event simply remarkable. The Video crew and Pictures will be amazing.
Wherever you stood at Paganstock you found music and magic in the air. The community come together for a great celebration of music, magic and fellowship. The Vendors all lent great energy and ideas, as well as a wonderful selection of food and merchandise. This festival will live on in history, and will return in the summer of 2006. We look forward to seeing you all there!!!
Paganstock 2006 will be looking for more performer as well as former to attend. If you are interested feel free to contact the event coordinators on the website. Open your heart! Open your mind! Hear the magic! All for networking, fellowship, and magic Thank you all for such a great time!
