Pantheistic Pagans

Website Profile: I am starting this group in an attempt to bring together those who have perhaps identified as pagan, but are feeling strong pantheistic leanings. One could argue that paganism *is* pantheism and that the God and/or Goddess are merely just names we give this divine universal force that runs through all of us and through the natural world. Some, however, may believe that calling it God and/or Goddess and utilizing the stories and identities of various gods and goddesses throughout history and from different cultures is actually limiting, and that human languages do not in fact have any words that could even begin to explain this kind of universal force. Pantheistic pagans, then, may believe in or utilize a force without giving it a specific name or title, but while still incorporating pagan-type rituals, since most who call themselves pantheists do not engage in any ritual, which also seems rather limiting and static. Pantheistic pagans would (or could) merge ritual with the idea that the universe, higher power, Spirit, etc. is not embodied in images, stories, or titles of God and/or Goddess, but in the actual physical universe and natural world, and this natural force could be used in ritual instead of calling upon gods and/or goddesses.
This group is to discuss this idea, and consider whether or not it is actually possible to embody this kind of spirituality and how it would be practiced in daily life.
