Folk i'the Wood (Servants of the Light, UK)

Website Profile: We work with Traditional English Craft and folk-magic (which is very different to modern Wicca) that has been taught to us by Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki and further developed by Steven Critchley and all the members of our group.
We work in a private woodland near Sheffield at a site which we call: 'The Dancing Floor'. Our celebrations always include working around a living fire. We always work outdoors in accordance with different lunar phases. Some of our rituals are held in the daytime too with solar orientations.
We are part of the Servants of the Light family of Lodges and Ritual Magic Groups and have raised Lodge status in the SOL. As well as outdoor Craft rituals we also work ritual magic in a Grail Chapel where we work with British Mythological Archetypes as part of our ongoing development as practitioners of esoteric and mystical disciplines within the Western Mystery Tradition.
We welcome enquiries from people who are genuinely interested in the Craft of the Wise or in our Grail Chapel work. We provide extensive training in ritual magic and accept apprentices in relation to Craft of the Wise work.
Steve Critchley is the leader of Folk i'the Wood. He was initiated through all of the Wiccan degrees by Patricia C. Crowther in the Sheffield Coven in the 1990's. Besides his Wiccan roots, Steve is also an initiate of the Servants of the Light School where he continues to receive Qabalistic training as well as being taught traditional elements of the Craft of the Wise personally by Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki, from mouth to ear, as is the old way.
