Enchanting the Day

Website Profile: For a long time I have wished for a magazine that was like a magical and out-of-the-closet “woo-woo” version of a cross between Martha Stewart Living and O the Oprah Magazine. Now, I cannot guarantee that this blog is going to be that exactly (because it has just begun to materialize and I sense that it has a very rich and vital life of its own) , but that’s generally the idea behind it.
Daily (or almost daily) posts will be laced with cosmic and astrological influences, tree-hugging propaganda, and self-love directives. These posts will include things like:
* Simple-yet-powerful rituals
* Magical pep-talks
* Enchanted edibles
* Meditations and shamanic journeys
* Magical ingredient spotlights (gems, plants, trees, flower essences, essential oils, etc.)
* Feng shui and magical decorating tips
* Holistic nutrition and herbal healing
* Q and A (ask away!)
* Charms and enchantments
* Magical baths
* Mudras and mantras
* Symbols and imagery
* Helpful beings (like gods, goddesses, power animals, fairies, and angels)
* Reviews and recommendations
* Etc.
All of existence is a vast, unified field of energy. What we send out into this field, we get back in one form or another. This means that when we truly desire something (from the very centermost and integral part of our hearts) and then intend, visualize, affirm, and believe in it, and then fully release and trust it to the Universe, it will eventually manifest in a perfect (if perhaps unexpected) way. Magical and metaphysical habits and modalities can help us clarify and fortify this process.
But, the reason I am so passionate about living in a magical way is that I believe that it goes beyond manifesting the desires of our hearts. Because we dwell in a sea of energy, when we create peace and joy in our hearts and homes, we generate ripples of peace and joy. As these ripples move throughout the planet, they gain momentum and become gigantic waves. In other words, living the magical life (a life of self-love, earth-love, and total empowerment) has the potential to turn the energetic tide, slowly but surely, little by little, establishing world peace and environmental harmony along the way.
So please join me, and lend your unique and beautiful essence to Enchanting the Day. Let’s create healing and harmony from the inside out, and turn the energetic tide together. It’s going to be fun!
