Leave it to the Witch

Website Profile: I remember the first time I felt the deep resonating connection with the craft. I was thirteen and I had just picked up one of my first books on witchcraft. It was a beginners 'teen witch' book with all sorts of silly spells and prayers. But what I remember vividly about this book was reading the Charge of the Goddess, one particular passage stuck out to me like a beacon:
"Keep pure your highest ideals, strive ever towards them. Let none stop you or turn you aside. For mine s the secret that opens upon the door of youth and mine is the cup of the Wine of Life and the Cauldron of Cerridwen, which is the Holy Grail of Immortality. I am the Gracious Goddess who gives the gift of joy unto the heart of man upon Earth. I give the knowledge of the Spirit Eternal, and beyond death I give peace and freedom and reunion with those that have gone before."
I remember reading that and knowing that no matter what happened, no matter how hard the road became I would not only survive, but flourish. It was a message of how to live my life and to this day I try to live by it. I've been a Witch for eleven years and in that time I've bounced around between traditions. Green Witchcraft, Norse Tradition, Celtic, Native American even.
When I was still in High School I came up with "Leave it to the Witch" a news letter that would hopefully help bring knowledge to the small pagan community of my mostly Christian hometown. Now, sometime later and wiser I return to the simple idea- but put it on the daunting Internet world.
Leave it to the Witch is not meant to be a teaching site, but is geared more for the seasoned practitioner with fun articles on different aspects of the Pagan World. With Informative weekly, daily and monthly issue articles this news letter focuses on becoming a fun, new and exiting hub of information for both new and old followers of the Old Religion by mixing new ideas with tried and true old school methods of the occult.
