Website Profile: Riding the "broomstick circuit, " M. Macha NightMare, long active in the Reclaiming Collective in the San Francisco Bay Area, is co-creator, with Starhawk, of The Pagan Book of Living and Dying, as well as author of other books. She currently chairs the Public Ministry Program at Cherry Hill Seminary: Professional Pagan Ministry Education [ www.cherryhillseminary.org], where she also teaches. She has been active in CoG at all levels since 1981, and is a ritualist and presenter at festivals, stores, colleges, radio and TV throughout the U.S. Her work has appeared in Reclaiming Quarterly, PanGaia, Green Egg, The Pomegranate, Circle, and other publications, plus several encyclopedia entries on Witchcraft. Some organizations of which Machae is a member are: the American Academy of Religion (AAR) (Contemporary Pagan Studies Section) ; the Nature Religions Scholars Network; the Marin Interfaith Council; and the Biodiversity Project Spirituality Working Group. Serving on the Advisory Council of the Sacred Dying Foundation, Macha is a death and dying activist. She also frequently lectures about NeoPaganism at Christian seminaries. She is available for workshops, lectures and ritual collaborations.
