Blending the Mystical and the Musical
Tuatha plays a psychedelic collage of trance dance, world groove, and tribal fusion that transports the listener on a visually evocative musical pilgrimage to indigenous lands, shamanic visions, and the realms of the spirits. All original compositions on an electro-acoustic blend of strings, flutes, voices, drums, and percussion inspired by African, Middle Eastern, Persian, Arabian, Indian, Eastern European, Gypsy, Latin, Celtic, and Native Amercian sounds - mixing classical, jazz, rock, traditional and new age styles to energize your spirit, move your body, spark your imagination, and elevate your soul.
Tuatha is a world groove, trance dance band out of Fort Collins, Colorado, made up of 5 pagans, that plays concerts in Colorado and hopes to tour surrounding states in the near future. We have played shows for Samhain, and Yule as well as other Sabbats/Festivals. We love to fulfill the need for dance at all festivals celebrating the earth spirit. We have recorded our first album, entitled "Invocation" which is available through our website.
