My name is Shelley Irish. I am a classically trained oil painter working in realism that specializes in all things mystical, metaphysical and spiritual. My intention behind my work is to paint images that speak to our spiritual selves and act as visual meditations to owners and viewers.

Chakra Rainbow is a series of fifteen 36" x 36" full figure oil paintings which depicts states of balance and imbalance of the Chakra Energy System. Largely based on archetypes and goddess influence, this series is my way of bringing a sense of visibility in realism to the mainly abstract and invisible concepts of chakra theory. Each painting illustrates a different chakra, it's elements and associated symbolism.
