A handfasting is an ancient wedding ritual whereby the couple enters into their loving union by tying consecrated cords around their clasped hands. Holding its roots in Scottish antiquity, the handfasting is a unique and memorable wedding rite.
Taking part in a handfasting with your beloved is a beautiful, creative and timeless way to express your love for one another.
I perform handfastings (weddings) , same sex handfastings and unions, baby naming ceremonies, commitment ceremonies, marriage vow renewals and other rites of passage.
I can perform legal weddings and handfastings in NYC, Westchester NY and Stamford CT and surrounding areas.
