Linda Batwinski Memorial Headstone Project 2009
It's been six years since Linda "B" passed over on January 2, 2002. Today she is interred at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Gary, Indiana, resting next to her cherished daughter. At this time, there is no headstone to mark her resting place.
The Wiccan Interfaith Council International has been asked to coordinate efforts to raise funds for a new headstone marker for Linda "B"s gravesite. The Linda Batwinski Headstone Project is our newest project for 2009. This project will raise a one-time amount of $1100.00 in funds for a headstone, which includes lettering, design, installation, care, and sales tax. The collected funds will go to the Ridgelawn-Mt. Mercy Cemetery, located in Gary, Indiana in September, 2009, from our organization.
The WICI will perform the accounting duties for this fundraiser. The project will be active from January, 2009 until September, 2009. This project will take the form of a regional campaign to collect funds for Linda’s gravesite marker from individuals, Pagan/Wiccan - based businesses, groups, organizations, and churches.

VISION STATEMENT:
The Wiccan Interfaith Council is an international fellowship of Wiccans, Pagan, Witches, and Heathens. Our global community strives to promote greater understanding and appreciation of Wicca, through interfaith/intrafaith services, educational forums, and social activism.
Wiccan - View our "Guidelines" section, for the comprehensive definition on what constitutes the "Craft of the Wise", according to the Wiccan Interfaith Council.
Interfaith – An interaction between people of different religious traditions (or “faiths”) , for the purpose of reaching a greater understanding, respect, and fellowship. Interfaith here means primarily between Wiccan, Pagan, Witch, and Heathen religious groups and individuals, yet can also include other progressive religious traditions.
Intrafaith – An interaction between people within a specific religious tradition (or “faith”) , for the purpose of reaching a greater understand, respect, and fellowship. Intrafaith here means between different Wiccan religious groups and individuals.

GOALS:
Charitable: To promote support for those individuals and groups, who follow the religious path of Wicca, as conceived and directed by Church members, through its committees, projects, and selected activities.
Educational: To build Wicca, explore specific traditions, provide clergy enrichments, enhance counseling approaches, award credentials of clergy ordination, and maintain historical preservation of the Craft through specific activities and projects.
Spiritual: To build Wiccan interfaith/intrafaith ties, promote support for Wiccan, Pagan, Witch, and Heathen practitioners, and build awareness of local-national-global issues, through projects, workshops, seminars, and gatherings.
Social: To build fellowship among Wiccan, Pagan, Witch, and Heathen clergy and practitioners, through social and educational activities.

PROJECT WE CARE
"Supporting Our Wiccan, Pagan, and Heathen Soldiers Overseas"
The Wiccan Interfaith Council is currently sponsoring "Project We Care", sending "We Care" boxes of Books and religious supplies to our *own* troops overseas.
PERSEPHONE'S HANDS
Our prison ministry currently serves the Indiana area, working with the State of Indiana D. O. C. / Religious Services and Community Involvement.
We've been proud to help get Executive Directive #07-71 approved, which allows all Indiana Wiccan inmates the right to wear the pentagram/pentacle as a religious symbol.

MEMBERSHIP IN THE WICCAN INTERFAITH COUNCIL
As a member of the Wiccan Interfaith Council, you are affirming the importance of fellowship between Wiccans, Witches, Pagans, and Heathens that make up our global religious-magical community. This fellowship extends to include our social and educational activism, which is always changing to meet the spiritual needs of our members and friends.
Whether you consider yourself a Wiccan, Witch, Pagan, or Heathen, please consider joining our 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization.
Membership is $15.00 per year and volunteering for a selected activity.
