Hello folks. I have been laboring recently to improve my offerings on the web and the first big lump of stuff is now on line. Tarot.
I just turned sixty (60) years of age and so the idea is now to publish the crème de la crème of my life's work in art so far for all to see. I expect some literature is next (true, the post-modern historical romance novel of the ancient mysteries set in Greece went up this spring, and random bits of writing have gone up with paintings now and then, but not yet a proper treatment of the poems or the essays or the play) and new recordings of the spoken work are planned, but the first big chunk just had to be Tarot.

As you might know, there is a pair of decks: the Simple Tarot and the Spirit Hill. They are much the same beneath the surface (in their attributions and humane philosophy) but have opposite styles of visual art. One is black and white, stylized but "realistic" ink and pencil drawings basically. Meanwhile the other has real paintings; powerful, critically acclaimed and innovative "New Modern Art". And both have helpful bits of Taoistic wordage printed on them. The design concept is thus to have a divination tool that almost anyone can read just at first glance.
And those two decks (together with some decorated boxes and a booklet) now comprise a work I call the Magic Mirror Tarot Set.
So what's up on the web?
The best way to view this work may be the flashcard show. Play it fast or slow and all the cards in random order appear then vanish on your screen. (Or even use the flashcard show to deal a reading.) Then there are the detail screens that let you view or print or download to your own machine whatever cards you choose. Then there is the set's companion booklet and various other prose and poetry to read. Then (in case you're really into it) there is the free complete do-it-yourself kit that helps you build a copy of the set at home. Okay so far?
