Reading the Tengwar

Website Profile: Having developed it to the point where it can now be put into general use, here is a system of divination and magical readings based upon J.R.R. Tolkien's Elvish writing, the Tengwar. This particular alphabet has had personal meaning for me for two-thirds of my lifetime (since the late 1970s, in fact) , and as such I decided to adopt it as my magical alphabet when I embraced Chaos magic. Consequently, the method of reading takes its ideas from sigil magic (for the generation of the characters) and the Futhark Runes (for assigning "meaning" to the symbols) . Some folks would see the significance of my introducing this system on the date of 12/12/12 – but, as with many occurrences in magic, this is a coincidence. It's also a partial coincidence that I developed this system at the time of the release of the first of the movies in The Hobbit trilogy. I realized that this would be a good time to introduce this to the public, as the movies are bringing J.R.R Tolkien into the public eye once again. However, this system is not based upon the movies – if it was, then I would be using the Futhark Runes instead of the Tengwar. Also, just as important: I am not selling anything based upon this system or the movies. By the way, I know about the Lord of the Rings tarot deck. I have never looked at it and I don't own a copy.
