Website Profile: I am one of those things that is not quite like the others. When everyone else wears black cloaks, I'm dressed in nice boots and a thick sweater. While other people march in protest, I am writing a well-placed letter proposing a solution beyond "stop doing that" or "start doing this." I see the conflict between religion and science as
manufactured nonsense. I have a disconcerting tendency to set things on fire. I dislike JRR Tolkien, avoid most sci fi conventions and I do not think newborn babies are cute. I think independent coffee shops are just as culpable as Starbuck's when it comes to ethical and karmic decisions and I prefer to integrate with the secular world rather than isolate myself from it. I enjoy discussions, but find arguments wasteful. I don't actively look to challenge the status quo or long-term assumptions, I just do.
Also, I am Wiccan and I write about it. I also write about plus size fashion, my perfume design company and my personal discoveries as I work through all of Julia Cameron's Artist's Way books. I review the occasional occult book for Facing North.net, and I have written reviews in the past for the Beltane Papers, and Blessed Be publications. Over the years my writing resume has expanded to include submissions to Circle Magazine, SageWoman, New Witch, Widdershins and I have appeared for ten years running in various Llewellyn Annuals.
