Website Profile: 'The Journeybook' is a pagan based adventure series uniting YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter in a unique interactive experience where the audience can get directly involved with how the series plays out by choosing the next chapter in the series and other aspects via live feed while filming is in process.
In Season One: 22 hand carved stone votives were created and dedicated to the Goddess Hera. Within the 22 chapter Season one of these stone votives where hidden in 22 different locations within a 70 mile radius.
Each adventure happens via mountain bike and cross country hiking to reach some of the most isolated and beautiful landscapes imaginable with camera and computer gear in tow to bring the audience along for the ride.
Updates and interactions with the audience come in live from the trail and the adventures are followed up with thousands of photos and music videos that chronicle the journey.
This past summer Journeybook fans traveled over 700 miles to film the first Season alone!
Journeybook also hosts a number of free give-a-way contests each season where audience members can win gifts sets created from items found on the adventures including things like semi-precious stones, raw crystals, and more.
'Journeybook' brings the epic adventure feel of mythology into the modern world in a visual masterpiece that you will have to see to believe!
