Website Profile: Emily Dewbre-Young was born in Odessa, Texas. She began her work in acrylic and oil paintings as well as colored pencil, chalk and other forms of traditional media in the early nineties. In recent years has delved into the ancient arts of pyrography, carving and sculpture as well. Her subject matter falls predominantly in the realm of nature, wildlife, legend, mythology, folklore and fantasy with a definitive style and remarkable imagination.
Her work has been used in advertising for productions such as 'Midsummer's Night Dream' for Summer Solstice at White Rock Lake Park in Dallas and is available for viewing by appointment at our home studio. Please call (817) 705-0631 to set up a good time to come visit! :)
