Website Profile: Like a lot of people I've spent my whole life trying to make sense of the world I live in. Looking for ways to balance the things that are important to me. Whether it is trying to make the world a better place, or having a comfortable life, or having a sense of purpose beyond just getting up, going to work and going going home. I have always been kind of obsessed with how to take all these seemingly very disparate things and bring them together in a balanced whole.
I've looked at philosophy, politics, spirituality and more. They all seemed to have some good ideas, maybe even an answer or two, but I've not found any single idea, or system that has all the answers, or the balance I've been seeking.
At times it seems like there are more differences between different belief systems than similarities. Whether it's politics, or religion, or something as simple as what we read or listen to. To make matters worse it has become fashionable to exploit our differences to divide us into nice neat little niche groups. Making us easier to exploit and control. However many have come to find that there are three things that almost everyone has in common. The first is that we all have a body. The second is that we all have a mind. And the third is that there is an indefinable aspect to our lives and being that most call the spirit. This forum is a place for people to come together to share what they believe about all three, both as discrete aspects of life and as a whole, and to learn about what others believe as well.
The community at The Threefold Path does not claim to have "The Answers". Rather we believe the value is in sharing the questions. Come and join us.
