Website Profile: Greenman Ministry is a Wiccan ministry in Texas state prisons. We are a non-profit corporation. We are also a Wiccan Temple, that holds public services at least four times a year.
We currently hold Wiccan circles in 18 prisons and enable an Asatru blots in three units. We do one-on-one counseling for Pagan inmates. We have a newsletter called the Greenman. We sell Wiccan religious supplies and books that are permitted by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) .
We work in cooperation with the TDCJ Chaplaincy to provide as many services as possible to Wiccan and other Pagan inmates. We train Pagans who want to work in Texas prisons.
We actively petition the state religious practices committee to add additional access for Pagans to such items as Tarot cards and LED candles.
We can legally accept contributions from offenders, their families and the general public through our website: http://www.greenmanministry.org .
