Website Profile: The purpose of the group is mainly a monthly gathering to play drums, celebrate the divine beat that the universe speaks through the voices of drums. Spirit Drum allows and encourages other drumming postings as we believe all drumming is spiritual.
"Drums are as old as the the people who first walked the earth. They were used in many rituals, war, sounding alarm, as well as in prayer and celebration. Scientific research has proven the healing effects of drum rhythms on the mind, body and spirit. Drumming can help us to celebrate the unity of the cycles of the earth, the cosmos and the human body. It is my sacred path to help inspire and guide you, regardless of where you are on your drumming journey." -Chip Geiger
Main event second Saturday of every month 1-6PM.
Drummers & Dancers Welcome! 100 people in the pleasant-hot months (70 degrees to 100+ degrees) $5 to attend Please bring a sweet or savory dish to share. Come and go as you please. Coincides with the Pagan Tea. Listing on Witch's voices, Meetup and Facebook.
