Textile art for the pagan world
I am a textile artist living in the Pacific Northwest. I make pouches, banners, hats and hoods, tool pouches, robes, basically anything a pagan might need that is textile based. All visible stitches are meticulously hand sewn, including eyelets, buttonholes and the like. This is not your typical cotton (printed or solid) pagan gear.
I imbue my work with positive intent, either determined by myself or requested by the person who will use it.
These items are one of a kind. There might be similarities in design or color but the details will always differ. I work organically which means that I am at the whim of inspiration which guarantees individuality.
Fabrics: I use natural fabrics although occassionally an exceptionally beautiful piece with man made fibers will be too gorgeous to pass up. Cotton, wool, silk, linen, and wool felt are my typical fabric choices. The cottons are typically limited to velveteens.
Threads: Also natural fibers, some are hand dyed. Perl cottons, silk, wool…
Gemstones and other trinkets include: amber, hematite, moon stones, amethyst, bloodstone, carnelian, lapis, jade, bone, wood, charms that match the theme of the item.
