Website Profile: Hello, my name is Wade and I've been doing prison ministry work in the Wisconsin DOC for nearly 8 years. In the Department of Corrections 8-12% of the inmates list their religious preference as pagan, asatru or wicca. We are the largest religious minority in the system and the numbers keep growing. There is a great need to assist these folks through book and material donations as well as actually going in and volunteering, as they are not allowed to have services and rituals without an outside volunteer. Also, there are a wide number of issues that have come up regarding the integration of incarcerated pagans into the mainstream pagan community upon their release. I encourage anyone interested in the topic and any pagan that might have spent time in prison to join the yahoo group I've set up so we can begin to adress some of these issues. The yahoo group is mostly dead but if you have any interest please let me know. BB,
