Website Profile: I renewed my longtime love for woodworking in mid-2009, & have been handcrafting beautiful items out of wood since mid-2010. I began with ogam (or ogham; Irish divination tools) ; then after a friend requested that I make a set of runes for her in early 2011, I decided to start making them regularly as well. In March 2011, I launched a new line of pendants which have gotten excellent reviews & have resulted in several custom orders; I hope that you'll enjoy whichever item (s) you choose as much as I have enjoyed creating them for you!
I am truly honored to be given the opportunity to craft items that people will use for years to come; as such, every piece of wood that comes through my shop is treated with the utmost respect. My items are lovingly handcrafted from start to finish with as little power tool use as possible to preserve an artisan feel, and my woods are all obtained in a sustainable and/or green manner whenever possible, frequently from friends who collect fallen/trimmed wood for me. Each item, be it a pendant or a full set of ogam, involves hours of careful cutting, shaping, sanding, and finishing (as well as an additional hour of woodburning for each set of ogam or runes) ; I hope that you'll be as pleased with the finished product as I am.
