The Shop
Gathering Place Gifts is headquartered in Shoals Indiana, and is open by appointment only. We also keep regular business hours in Loogootee in cooperation with Cooper Plaza Antiques. Here is where you will find the majority of our shelved books, dvds, movies, and other items you will not see us traveling with. (Moisture and books is bad.) We do keep a selective amount of soap, jewelry, glasswork, chainmaille, and other items on the shelves there as well. Feel free to stop in or email us for whats currently out. Most of our sales are done through our online store or in person at a variety of events throughout the United States. The majority of our items are handmade or custom order; however, we do stock a few items that are not. Our artisans specialize in a wide array of artistic mediums, and excel in custom work.
Our Products
We offer an assortment of items including Chainmaille (necklaces, chokers, bikinis, ankle bells, belts, etc.) , Leathergoods (floggers, bikinis, masks, bottle holders, etc) , Engraved Glass, Jewelry (including .999 fine silver) , Handmade Herbal Soaps, Belly Dance Supplies, Books, T-shirts, Novelty Items and Sarongs (including wrap pants and shirts) . Gathering Place Gifts is proud to be able to offer you an assortment of top quality items. Many of the items available through our site are custom made by skilled Artisans. We offer both in-house handcrafted items, and items crafted by others. Because our items are handcrafted by Artisans we choose you can order guilt free knowing that they were not tested on animals and not crafted using child labor (At least not that any of the kids have complained about!) Whether created by us, or those we have networked with, you can rest assured that you will receive a quality item that you can treasure!
Venues
We like to travel. A lot. We enjoy meeting our customers face to face in their own element and working with them to get a better idea of their wants and needs. We try to write our show schedule about six months to a year in advance. If you are planning an event, or would simply like to see us at an event you plan to attend, please don't hesitate to contact us with information. We can't promise we'll make it, but we will check into it. This applies to both vending and performance, as in many cases we tend to do both.
Payment
We are PayPal Verified sellers and prefer credit card payments via Paypal. We do also accept cashier's checks and postal money orders. Cash is only accepted in store or on-site at participating venues. All sales in store are cash only at this time.
