Eternal Harvest Wicca Correspondence Course

Website Profile: Greetings! The Eternal Harvest Church and Tradition of Wicca is now offering a complete First Degree correspondence course.
We have taken the same material we use in our coven training and ritual and translated it for solitary use. Students will receive 23 lessons, 8 Sabbat rituals, 3 Esbat rituals, and a variety of meditations and work suggestions. There is homework, mandatory reading assignments, and required Sabbat and Esbat rituals to perform and report on. After successfully completing the curriculum, the student becomes eligible to challenge for the Rite of Initiation to First Degree within our Tradition. After initiation, the student is a full member of the Tradition and can train others up to their degree level if they choose.
The course is designed to be completed in one year. A student can take more or less time, if needed, for their studies, but initiation cannot take place until one year and one day after signing up for the course. ***Although the course is self-paced, we expected homework to be completed and returned in a timely manner -- no more than 8 weeks from the time it is received. ***
Our Tradition reverences the Lord and the Lady equally. The myth-story of our Sabbat year draws upon the classic themes of the Sacred Marriage of the Lord and Lady; the sacrifice of the Divine King; and the eternal cycle of birth-growth-harvest-death-rebirth. We do not mandate the reverence of one pantheon over another. While much in our Tradition's workings draw upon our Celtic and Northern European heritages, and we all have Patron & Matron Deities we work with individually, in our coven work we usually address Deity by Title and function, not by name, such as "Lord of the Hunt" and "May Queen." Students who honor Greco-Roman, or even Near Eastern, Deity-forms can comfortably work with the material. (We are happy to offer individual advice about this.)
Each lesson is $15.00. There are no contracts; you pay for one lesson at a time. In addition to the $15 per lesson, you will need to go out-of-pocket to obtain a robe, athame, and cord that meet our requirements; to obtain the 12 mandatory books; and to pay for postage, homework supplies, and any altar tools you might not have (chalice, pentacle, etc.) .
