Website Profile: I create a wide variety of ritual tools, jewelry and other shiny objects out of feathers, fur, leather, bones, beads and other found objects to create pouches, totemic dance costumes, and other unique items. All items made with animal parts are ritually purified, and a portion of what I make is donated to the Defenders of Wildlife. A significant portion of my magical/spiritual practice involves working with "skin spirits", the spirits of the skins and bones that remain when the soul of the animal departs. A lot of what I work with is secondhand, such as old fur coats, taxidermy mounts, etc. Here's what I offer:
--Jewelry: From neotribal designs made of bone, wood and antler, to shiny glass beads and pewter pendants, I work with a wide variety of themes. I particularly am fond of scavenging beads from broken costume and other jewelry, and I barter with other artists for odds and ends.
--Ritual tools: I specialize in bone athames with leather or fur sheaths, and deer antler rune sets with leather or fur pouches. I've also made skull rattles, deer antler bowls, and other useful tools.
--Totemic dance costumes: I make dance costume for working with totems and other animal spirits out of partial and whole animal hides. Whether you want just a tail, or an entire full hide to dance in, take a look at what I have!
--Wall hangings: Leather-wrapped hoops, decorated deer scapulae, and other nifty things to hang on your wall! These may be used as decoration, as spirit houses, or as magical standards.
--Pouches: From necklace pouches to wear, to large pouches for carrying ritual supplies, I create a wide variety of drawstring and foldover bags out of leather, fur, and recycled denim.
--Miscellanous: Want a tarot card bookmark? Or a little critter made of bone? Check out my miscellaneous stuff for things that don't quite fit into the above categories.
Everything is made one of a kind; only very rarely will I repeat a design in a project. The inventory turns over very quickly, so check back frequently to see what's new! Check/money order and Paypal accepted.
