Website Profile: Herb Majicks is the result of my passionate desire for ritual tools that hum with Spirit and manifest Powers born of clear and clean intent. For this venture, I wear the cap of Majickal Aromatherapist.
In this realm I offer ritual incenses and anointing oils, majickal massage oils, aromasols and bath salts. All are lovingly Crafted, Blessed, Charged and Sealed by my own hand of real honest-to-goodness plant materials and minerals--nothing synthetic! While many of the ingredients are sourced through herb wholesalers, I also do a bit of wildcrafting and grow a number of the herbs in my own gardens. Deep methodology: From Seed to Censor! Yes!
There are also a few pages of durable tools, like cauldrons, censers and the like. Just a few that I have found to be excellent and lovely. I hope to add more items in the future from my own little workshop, such as custom wands, rattles, drums, jewelry, etcetera.
For newbie visitors, I've also got a little info regarding safety, the basic uses of the items on the site and a little 'bookstore' of my favorite companion books (via Amazon.com association) and music; all pages which continue to evolve.
I began my journey in paganism as a child running wild in the forests and swamps on western shore of Chesapeake Bay. With only instinct and compulsion to guide me, I created ritual and made offerings to the Wild with what was at hand: vine-twisted staves, may apples, yarrow, deer bones and owl feathers. I learned to shape-shift, to turtle-whisper, draw down the moon and cloak my passage in the wildlands from other humans. My knowings were spontaneous, uncensored, and secret. I did not speak of them to my peers and never did I dream of sharing that world with the adults in my life.
I was a grown woman before I learned there were others like me (and yet unlike) , who adhered to a Craft or claimed a Coven or even that there were established Traditions galore.
Eventually, formal Dianic Initiation and training and later Ordindation into the Spiritual Healers and Earth Stewards gave me the tools to lead and teach, which was the time my work with incenses and anointing oils began and flourished.
Now I live on the eastern shore of the Puget Sound, and have celebrated the turning of the Wheel with folk both Wonderful, Dear and Wierd in many Ways. Over the decades I have sought to entwine my wild-witch nature with all the teachings I've received from Faery, Dianic, Gardnerian, Druidic, Native American, Essene, Buddhist, Psychic and 'New Age' wisdoms. The result thus far is a loose framework of Celtic-grounded Wicca with my own peculiar associations and interpretations...
May my voice speak well for the Goddess. May my hands channel the Light. May my work be for the Highest Good of All; Harming no One, nor no Thing. So Be It!
