A Forum of Support for Our Troops
This forum has been set up for you to post your prayers and words of support to our troops and military personnel. If you are the family member of a Pagan serviceman or woman and wish to list your loved one's name and very general location so that Pagans may include him/her in support rituals, you may do so. Prayers and affirmations for the safety and protection of our military personnel serving in combat positions is especially appreciated and encouraged.
The Witches' Voice has also received many requests for information on programs that send aid to the troops. Please read the general guidelines page before sending mail and packages. If you know of any other programs conforming to these DOD guidelines that are available, you may list them on this forum.
Important Note: Whether one supports the war in Iraq or not, we all want our troops to safely return home to their loved ones. There are many places on the net where one can debate the policies and actions of the US/UK in Iraq. This is not one of them.

Thanks to all our BRAVE soldiers who are serving in Iraq, Afganistan, Korea, and other locations around the world for the sacrifices of being away from loved ones and the Blood that has been shed to protect the beliefs and values of the greater American public. I hear words of support and concern on a daily basis from the public in the Oklahoma City area for our soldiers in arms. I support you and pray for your success and a safe return back to the home states. I am continually impressed by the kindness and professionalism of the soldiers and civilians, I work with here. America can be proud of her people, who are working to bring hope and freedom to the people of Iraq.

while there is no doubt that most Americans support the troops it is no secret that support for the current administration and the way foreign politics are handled have deminished. This war is not only costing the taxpayers money in unbelievable amounts, it is also costing the lives of our soldiers on a daily basis with very little progress to show for.
Until the upcoming elections there is little we can do however I have been showing my support to bring home the troops with ribbons on my truck and I also wear t-shirts from www.trooptshirts.com that show how I feel about this situation.
