Bardic Circle Featuring Vanth SpiritWalker...

The Goddess' Waltz
(by Vanth SpiritWalker)

Audience Count: 9,893

The Story...

This tune is a small lullaby which was composed as a birth present for Beauyn Alasdair, the son of a very good friend of mine and one of the most important people in my life, born Dec 25th 1999.

Since I seem to see a lack of pagan lullabies around, I decided to offer this to the community.

The song is completely free, since I have this personal belief that music is a gift of the Gods and should not be paid for. It is not registered and anyone is free to copy it and distribute it, as long as the credit is given to the people who worked on it and to Beauyn, whom it was written for.

Recorded: Jan 2000@Black Angel Music Studio (my living room)

Guests/Players: Guest vocals by Anna Consuelo Cerichelli, vocalist of the band Pulcher Foemina

Technical Notes: Recorded using Easy Beat and the synth capabilities of QuickTime Musical instrument on a Powermac 8600. The voice was recorded using a Yamaha MT100 multitrack recorder and everything was mixed using Cubasis on the Powermac

The Goddess' Waltz
(words & music by Vanth SpiritWalker)

Now close your eyes my little one
And rest until the coming dawn
Forever safe in my embrace
Until the morning comes

The fingertips of Mother Moon
Caress your brow with dreams of joy
The golden kiss of Father Sun
Will wake you in the morn

In strenght and wisdom you will grow
Wrapped in the warm embrace of love
So sleep serene and safe from harm
Until the morning comes

No need to fear the world outside
When love is standing by your side
And fills your heart with pride and joy
Inside your motherÕs arms

Your fatherÕs strenght will keep you safe
Protecting you from harm and fear
Your motherÕs love will keep you warm
All through the winterÕs chill

In strenght and wisdom you will grow
Wrapped in the warm embrace of love
So sleep serene and safe from harm
Until the morning comes

Now softly sleep my precious one
Until the morning comes
