  The Story...
This song is actually one of the first songs we created. It's about our pain and anger towards the polution that our earth is suffering.
As a metalband we focus on the more 'darker' side of paganism. Using frustrations and anger as a fuel for our songs. This leads to highly agressive, extremely fast music.
The lyrics describe how nature turns into a sort of monster of destruction. A gigantic treeman with tendrils as arms, taking revenge on humanity for their wrongs. To picture nature as a gigantic monster slaughtering humanity is a way to make people see nature as a living thing. Something they should not mess with. People seem to think the earth is their little plaything and they can treat as they like, while they forget it is the one thing that keeps them alive. Perhaps when nature is pictured as a threat, they will start to see the life it holds.
We decided to start the song with a soundsample, as it brings an interesting extra to the lyrics. We were amazed how well the sample fitted the song, as it flows into the start where the drums kick off and the guitar starts playing. The shouting can be heard well into the song, emerging both as a unity.

Technical Notes: Basic setup: drums (double-bass), bass, guitar with distortion and vocals. No effects used except the distortion.
Artist Profile: Slamfist is a band that plays a new style of Hardcore, Pagancore. It is a mixture of Deathcore and Metalcore, with Pagan-minded lyrics.
