Bardic Circle Featuring...
 Pendragon Hall ...
Invocation of the Undine/Musical Ritual
(by David Pendragon , Bill Hall)

Audience Count: 7,697

The Story...
This project came about in early 2000 in a newly setup studio in Canberra Australia. At this time David and Bill met while recording a demo for Bills band, both were looking to explore musical ideas that were not of the'commercial' driven need to earn a living. David had spent some time listening to 'World' music from a multitude of sources, Bill had always wanted to step out of the confines of the rock'n roll that he had played in bands for most of his musical life. The union of these two gave birth to this music, which is at presant being compiled into an album entitled 'Musical Ritual'.As the project developed it enticed other players to add thier moments, some of the most beautiful being the flute of Rebbecca and vocal from Natalia. While recording and editing this album many life changes and challanges occured for each of the players, there were many emotions shared by all, at times we felt stripped of all our preconcieved notions about music, and for seasoned musicians nothing can be more challanging or rewarding. Each piece was recorded with a visual in mind, and each musician was giving thier own interpretation of that visual 'storyline'The studio became a sacred space while recording this work, with ritual objects placed lovingly around the room, and candles and incence to sanctify the space. Some of the nature sounds you will hear are not samples , they are the garden at sunset, just outside the studio door and birdsong recorded during the day.The thunder is real, recorded while doing the Native American session with Medicine Crow.If you are up for a long listening experiance, make yourselves comfortable and let the music take you on the journey, we will meet you there. When you get to the site where the music is stored, you will find under the band name a 'play all' button[lo or hi fi]this will give you an uninterupted performance of the pieces. If you prefer you can scroll to the title that takes your fancy and play individual songs. We want to share this music with you all for as long as you want it, so we have made each piece downloadable as well.If you would like a CD copy of this perfornance please email David, Blessings
