The Story...

Candle lit bedroom in a musky basement... She sits... savoring the last few moments of quiet with the love of Her life, waiting for the sun to rise. She watches the shimmering luminessence of light flickering over His olive skin... His shoulders... His arms... His half uncovered torso.

There is a knowing... that at any moment He could wake, the sun would rise, and that He must leave Her. They will carry on throughout the day, doing what they must... playing the parts of the warriors of their seperate corners of this Universe.

Finally, one day, they will be able to meet again... perhaps beneath the Hunter's Moon.

This was written a couple of years ago. It is not simply a song of love and admiration of a mighty warrior spirit, but also a prophetic glimpse into what we know now as our present and unsettled world. Goddess Bless us all.
