The Story...
We all know the spider web… pull on one strand and the whole thing shimmies right? This is the basis for big medicine or bad karma. This song speaks of the insanity of said condition. So many pulls, so much taken, so much temptation to ill gotten goods. Children slaving in sweat shops making designer prom gowns. Itinerate Chinese farm workers working 18 hour days to make Mardi Gras beads. Military bases dotting the globe to insure the safe delivery of rotted dino carcasses in petroleum form so that we may destroy our planet in our pursuit of cheap plastic slave-manufactured crap from the local discount mega-center. Generational hatred and resentment dotting the globe for the sake of those military bases. Hospitals turning dieing patients away daily because they haven’t paid their tribute money to the godfather of HMOs. We could go on… My point being… that just occasionally the question enters my mind… is it really worth it? Is “the American dream” worth the blood of innocents? Is this the life and conscience that I want for my child? I would not have chosen this in a million years… and I would easily give every last drop of my life’s blood to bring about a better and more gentle world. Have you ever checked out the litany of a peace sign? It’s runic.... and a good bit of knowledge to have. Peace.

Artist Profile: I was born and have lived life as a co-creator unaware. I began dreaming in another life and then woke up in Southeast Arkansas at the dawn of the Age of Aquarius. During the past two decades I have been experimenting with various musical concepts and genres only to return to my roots as a co-creator. I've studied Buddhism, Christianity, Gnosticism, Hinduism, Islam, Native American Religions, Wicca, and Zen - not that any of it matters. Today I listen more than I speak and I make futile efforts to seek after the truth of the matter - typically only finding that the truth lies no further than I/we imagined it to be in the first place. Ultimately, the details of your reality don't matter, it's the way you embrace your reality that makes those details come alive for you.
