The Story...
 This song is about heartache to the fullest extent. I met a regular GQ of a guy who drove around in a new Corvette because of the business he and his daddy owned. He seemed to be going places and he knew just what to say around my parents. I was astonished that this 18 year old would want to have anything to do with me...a freshman in high school...but why should I rock the boat and ask? I fell in love and all seemed magickal the first two weeks. He kept trying to get very fresh with me though and I wouldn't have anything to do with that...I had prinicipals. One day I toldl him about my Epilepsy so he wouldn't be scared if I should go into a seizure. He freaked out. He put about 4 feet between us like I was contagious or something. I explained everything to him but he still seemed cold toward me. Needless to say, that was the last time I would ever see him. I'm glad he broke my heart. I later found out he was a known drug dealer and he used young girls for his sexual pleasure and then he would disappear. It hurt like hell and I know I'm not the only girl to ever have a guy break her heart. I felt like I was dying inside. The good news is I met the love of my life a few years later...my soul mate. We have been together 21 years come this August and married for 19. Every negative does have it's positive and this song was the period to a point in my life that needed healing.
Recorded: Recorded 2005 El Paso Texas in personal Studio
Guests/Players: I created the music, wrote the lyrics, sang the song and recorded my tracks to compose Goodbye.
Technical Notes: I used my G-5 Mac, Garage Band instruments such as violins, bass and electric guitars and drums, and my Piano Keyboard to create the sound track for Goodbye and then I recorded the lyrics I wrote for the song afterwards. The only problem was the acoustics since I was in my bedroom doing it...no professional mic or recording studio but I loved making it.
Artist Profile: Goodbye is not the usual type of music I would write but lately, with the writing of my first fantasy novel, I have been branching out in ways I never knew I had in me. I love the creative process and all the magick it holds.
