Profile: Bardic Circle

I've tried several things with varying amounts of success. My classes at a local store have always done well, but the store closed. I had recorded many of those classes, which I used to set up an internet radio station, which has done reasonably well.

But recently one of my friends discovered Pagan podcasts, and started encouraging me to try my hand, using the recordings I already have. Being something of a perfectioninst, I'm not happy with the quality of those recordings, so I made the decision to record new material for the podcast.

I may yet use some of the older material if I can clean up the recordings, but in the meantime I plan to record a new show every week, and so far I'm having fun doing it. The episodes can be found on the Crooked Path website.

Why am I doing this? Well mainly because my personal spiritual path includes a need to provide service to the community. I used to do this through public classes and rituals at that local store, but I don't have that outlet any more. So I started creating my DVDs, writing articles, and now this podcast, to continue that work.

And so here it is. This is the first epiosode of my weekly show, the Crooked Path. it is a talk show on Traditional Witchcraft, Magick and the Elder Faith, and I hope you like it.

Recorded: At my home studio in Los Angeles, February 2006
Guests/Players: Peter Paddon, author, Witch and creator of the Craftwise DVD series.

Technical Notes: Voice recordings used Propoganda podcast tool, and intro, ads etc use Sonar 4.

Artist Profile: Peter Paddon is a British Witch and Cunningman who lives in Los Angeles. along with his wife Linda, he herds the group of modern Cunning Folk known as Briar Rose, and is the creator of the Craftwise series of spellcrafting DVDs. peter currently has two published books, on the Egyptian Mysteries, and is working on several other writing projects concerning the Nameless art.
