The Story...

This song was one of 13 pieces used for sacred dance circle in the Temple of Isis. I being a priestess residing over the full moon ceremonies then was blessed by this song to isis. We had live musicians every month always different joining us. A central alter was set up with candles and sacred talismens and everyone dressed as the diety being honored that evening. The songs were to honor and to invoke the divine qualities to all that were present. Most all dressed as the Egyptian diety and danced around the alter in the enchanting candle light. I introduced the song with geometric dance mudras to set the atmosphere and then others would join in and continue and once joined in would dance through the night. This was done for a year and at the end of the year we had an annual convocation where priestesses from around the world come to the temple. I introduced this that evening to the many visiting and many wanted the music. This was the catalyst for the production of White Lotus. White Lotus is a collection of 13 songs and chants to ancient Egyptian Gods and Goddesses in honor and tribute. There are 7 additional contributing musicians on White Lotus. Addtional instrumentation include electric guitar, sitar, more percussion and bass guitar. Devotion is the venue, Ecclectic is the product. Enjoy!
