The Story...
 The story is sordid and dark. This was written during one of the darker times of my life. It would seem that now is the best time to go back and deal with alot of those angry thoughts... Now that things have setlled down for me personally it seems that those disappointments are far enough away to be able to look at them objectively.
The song is essentially about anger at someone who had betrayed me. it seemed as though everything I said was suspect to be untrue. Guilty until proven innocent.
A strange thing happens when you are unconditionally condemned for anything and everything that you may say. You find that you are increasingly unable to care. The resulting descent into helplessness will result in one of two outcomes... either the abused party will shrink into a dismal coil of depression or the abused party will erupt into a defiant rage against the abuser...
Or a third possiblilty will occur where the abused party will descend into a pit of dispair before erupting like a phoenix.
The warm fuzzy part of this story would lie in the fact that my story would be the phoenix thing... I came out of it ok. but the more sinister part of my story would lie in the seething hatred that lingers for this person.
I gave this person everything, they gave me hell. They stabbed and twisted
Hell may have no fury like a woman scorned but a woman scorned might yet still have a thing or two to learn from a scorpio abused.
The scorpio might fall to passion but gods help them when he arises once more.

During the past two decades I have been experimenting with various musical concepts and genres only to return to my roots as a co-creator. I've studied Buddhism, Christianity, Gnosticism, Hinduism, Islam, Native American Religions, Wicca, and Zen - not that any of it matters. Today I listen more than I speak and I make futile efforts to seek after the truth of the matter - typically only finding that the truth lies no further than I/we imagined it to be in the first place. Ultimately, the details of your reality don't matter, it's the way you embrace your reality that makes those details come alive for you. undefined
