Profile: Bardic Circle

My number one musical influence is Phil Spector, the legendary rock 'n roll producer. It is the use of his production technique (the "wall of sound") that makes this record unique.

In this Spectoresque production, I endeavour to present a simple melody banged out on the piano in September 2008 in a rich orchestration. Although somewhat costly, I am confident this record will be a top hit.

Take 1, in March 2009, was nearly 8 minutes long. I decided to revise the music; and, by Take 9, it was down to under 5 minutes. The final dubbing and mixing was completed in mid-September 2009.

I plan to issue it as an A-side on a single, with a similar composition on the B-side.

Work on the B-side will begin in November 2009 and include music cut from the A-side with original music added to it.

Lyrics are in the works and are being finalized by my co-writers. This is why the subtitle is "Open Up Your Heart, " because this is the title of the lyrics. They will most likely be finalized by October 2009.

I am currently also establishing my own label and distribution company in order to eventually save money on costs in the long run. This single will be issue no. 1.

The record itself will not be available for play until the lyrics are completed and recorded.
