BMDO Dedicant Path Birch Month
(by Charlton Hall)

Audience Count: 25,123

The Story...

Welcome to the Dedicant Path Course for the Black Mountain Druid Order! This Dedicant Course is a year-long introduction to Druidry as practiced by the Black Mountain Druid Order. Each lesson is designed to be completed over a month's time. There are thirteen monthly lessons, for a total of a year's worth of lesson plans. There are only four lessons per month, but 13 months, as we follow the lunar calendar. Each lesson is broken down into four weeks' worth of activities. Each week has a subject of focus and at least one written reflection. For the written reflections, you may create a blog through one of the blog services, or create a page on Facebook, or if you prefer to keep your reflections private, simply write them in your own personal journal.

The course of the BMDO are on the honor system. Nobody will check to see if you're keeping up with your weekly assignments. You're on your own to complete the lessons. Remember that Druidry is a self-directed path, and that your spiritual path is ultimately up to you. As long as you adhere to the Four Sacred Pillars of the Black Mountain Druid Order, you are welcome as a member of our Order! These lessons serve to give you a good basic foundation in the practice of Druidry. Cling to what is useful to you, and discard the rest.

There are thirteen albums altogether in the Black Mountain Druid Order Dedicant Path series. Each album is designed to be completed in a four-week month. This first album in the 13 album series, the Birch Month, covers the Welsh Druid concept of the Awen. How do Druids seek the Awen, and what does it mean to us?
